Welcome to St. John the Baptist & St. Joseph Catholic Churches!
St. John the Baptist Church in Tipton was founded in 1866. St. Joseph Church in Elwood was established in 1889. In 2020 St. Joseph and St. John the Baptist became a pastorate of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana as part of the United in Heart 2030 pastoral plan. Our mission is part of the shared commitment in Christ's work to bring the Good News to our communities. We hope you will find yourself at home with us and join us in growing His Church.
